Your Perfect Pokémon Tales: Z-A Super Form Based on Your Zodiac Sign
This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread enthusiasm across the fandom. From the gradual reveal of newcomers before the game's launch, to trainers forming strong views on the entire roster of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for fans to look forward to.
Given numerous of the Mega Evolutions showcasing unique designs that emphasize their personalities, one idea naturally: What's the best way to link this with zodiac signs? This list is inspired by a blend of intuition, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.
Aries – Super Camerupt
Honestly, Houndour's evolution was nearly chosen for this fire sign, as they are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that evoke the greatest apprehension. But, a Mega Houndoom appears as constantly angry, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, known for being playful, cheerful, and spontaneous. This makes Aries far more similar to Super Camerupt, which solely spews lava when provoked. Stay on the good side of both and benefit from a strong partner; if you cross them, prepare to get burned.
Taurus – Mega Heracross
Similar to a devoted Taurus, the reliable Heracross species, both in its standard and Mega form, has assisted numerous players in Legends: Z-A. Though trustworthy, both the creature and a Bull are still Fighting types, and – be it their trainer or a firm belief – will stand up for their position unwaveringly. What about Mega Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unashamed love of treats. Several previous Pokédex entries mention their fondness for sweet sap and how it employs its horn to collect it everything, which is true Bull-sign vibe.
The Twins – Super Medicham
Look at this total queen. It's impossible to convince me this Pokémon is not the life of every party, offering an endless stream of gossip to anyone who wants to hear. Much like an enrapturing, sociable Gemini, it's incredibly simple to imagine Super Medicham captivating an entire Wild Zone with their tales. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also mentions its ability to predict an opponent's future actions, which sounds very like a people-smart Gemini.
Cancer – Super Manectric
Cancer is widely considered as the most emotional sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign known for frequently becoming wrapped up in their feelings. According to the official info, Super Evolution fills the creature with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's too much for Manectric to completely control,” which seems a lot like a classic Cancer crash-out. It is also recognized for its ability to create a thundercloud over its own head – and if there’s one thing a Crab is going to do, it’s spoil their own parade.
The Lion – Mega Starmie
Oh, did you assume I was going to select the lion Pokémon for the lion of the zodiac? Aside from the fact that it would be much too obvious, Leo is obviously Mega Starmie, the star whose legs just went viral for being extremely fabulous (or terrifying, based on your taste). Fans were captivated from the purple starfish, and that’s exactly the same vibe a Lion offers to the scene. This Pokémon is also said to be broadcasting signals from its red core out into the cosmos, and it’s typical of a Lion to be staging a show, albeit for extraterrestrials.
Virgo – Super Victreebel
The always-ready and constantly-worried Virgo is ideally encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Super Form with constant acid reflux. The zodiac symbol famous for being endearingly critical is strongly mirrored throughout this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a perpetually shocked face like a Maiden when you tell them you don’t have a 401(k), to its inverted face that’s similar to the emoji a Maiden sends to the group chat when all says they want to “go with the flow” instead of creating a plan.
The Scales – Super Audino
Observe this sweet, empathetic creature, who uses the feelers on its auditory organs to tell how others are emotionally by their heartbeat. Consistently empathetic – occasionally to a fault – and trying to maintain the harmony, there are many Scales who would likely benefit from Mega Audino’s abilities. However, let’s be honest, it would likely just cause them to worry more about everyone else.
Scorpio – Super Banette
Banette is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly tragic origin: Discarded as a doll, it gained consciousness through sheer hatred and swore retribution on its former owner. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds precisely like several conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpion friends. A Scorpio adores cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the perfect match with Mega Banette.
Sagittarius – Mega Hawlucha
Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always staging a performance. Being a Sagittarius personally, the number of times I’ve called myself some variation of a “silly little jester” is countless. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its description even mentions how it “flexes to show off its strength.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Archer match I can imagine.
Capricorn – Mega Absol
Were you aware that a Super Absol has the ability to predict disasters ahead of time? That gives the identical vibe as a Goat, who often consistently believe they’re correct. Interestingly, much like a visionary Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute first Super Form that trainers encounter in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to get in on the ground floor of the Super Form craze.
The Water Bearer – Mega Chandelure
Aloof element Water Bearer is possibly the non-flame sign that is most like a flame symbol – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are numerous memes about the Archer and Water Bearer being unpredictable accomplices. Super Chandelure's dual Ghost/Fire category matches seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting aura is also very Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Super Form's description says it “draws in negative energy and transforms it into strength.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
